GriefShare is a grief support group comprised of people who have experienced the loss of a loved one. GriefShare is designed to help individuals cope with the searing pain of loss in their lives and to unlock their emotions for healing. This 13-week course also involves small, daily devotions to help each individual stay connected to God. Attending GriefShare automatically helps to form new relationships with others who also have experienced the loss of an important person in their lives.

Additional sessions for Blended Family Couples with children of any age
Saturdays, March 12 and 19, 2015
6-7:30 pm
Rockrimmon Stone Chapel, lower level

This workshop is designed to help you build a strong foundation for your marriage and is offered twice a year in January and September. Weekly homework and topics discussed: Purpose, Marriage & Love, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Needs, Differences & Expectations, Roles, Responsibilities & Decision-making, Sexual Intimacy, Financial Management, Parents and In-Laws.

Three additional sessions are provided specifically for Blended Families (i.e. couples with children of any age). Each couple will have a mentor couple during the workshop and will meet with them a minimum of 3-4 times outside of class to discuss specific issues.

WVC requires that couples totally complete the Premarital Workshop at least 3 months before your wedding date. Satisfactory completion of this workshop (or comparable sessions with an approved counselor) is required if you plan to be married at Woodmen Valley Chapel or to ask one of the Woodmen Valley Chapel pastors to perform your wedding. These requirements are outlined in the Premarital Manual. If WVC workshop timing doesn't work with your wedding date, you can email Dee Dee Martin to obtain names of Christian counselors who provide comprehensive premarital counseling.

You do not have to be engaged, attend Woodmen, or have your wedding ceremony at Woodmen Valley Chapel to attend our premarital workshop.
