Backyard summer camp: bolt
We want to help you and your kids create more space for one-on-one ministry, and this year’s Backyard Summer Camp: BOLT is an amazing opportunity to do just that. Our prayer is that BOLT will help your kids grow in their own walk with God while sharing the hope of Christ with others in your community.
How Does Backyard Summer Camp Work?
This three-day Backyard Summer Camp requires minimal preparation and is designed for you to do with friends, classmates, teammates, neighbors or your own family at home. By registering for camp, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions, links to worship songs with hand motions and videos that will lead you through each day’s content. It’s that simple!
When is Backyard Summer Camp?
You choose! When registering for BOLT, you’ll receive all the materials you need to participate in camp any time throughout the summer. Whether you choose to do it in three consecutive days, three separate weekends, or all in one day, you get to decide what works best for you!
What if I Need Help Connecting?
Connecting with one another is a huge part of camp this year, but we know it’s not always easy. Whether you’re new to Woodmen or have been attending for many years, our hope is that you’ll grow in your walk with Christ and your relationship with others this summer. During the registration process, you’ll have a chance to mention whether you need help connecting or if you’re open to inviting people to join your camp. If you need further help, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us! We’d love to get to know you and help you connect with others.
Summer Kick Off Event - June 6
To create even more opportunities for connection and fun, you’re invited to our Summer Kick Off on June 6 at 5:30 PM (doors open at 5 PM) at your Woodmen campus. We will have a short gathering in the Auditorium to kick off the night, then we’ll head outside for food, bounce houses and other fun activities! We hope you’ll invite friends and join us for this fun evening!
