Current Opportunities
Men, we urge you to take specific steps to pursue deeper relationships and spiritual growth with other men. Below are several options involving varying degrees of time commitment and spiritual maturity. One of them may be just the right one for you. Decide which one you want to go after and take the next step to get connected.
"The Galley"
For a regular "men's retreat booster shot," come to The Galley the third Tuesday of every month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (Locations vary). It's a warm, welcoming, inviting place where WVC guys get together to connect, belong, and be challenged. You'll always find "guy food," giveaways, and an all-around good time. On Target Institute
A weekly gathering of men with a purpose of becoming men of character. OTI takes place every Thursday morning from 6:30-8:00 a.m. in the gym of the community center at the Rockrimmon Campus. Hear inspirational teaching by Vince D'Acchioli, and enjoy small group discussion on topics covering every facet of a man's spiritual, relational, physical and vocational life. "Flagship" Serving Opportunities
There are over 2000 men at Woodmen Valley Chapel who need to be Engaged, Equipped and Empowered. This presents countless opportunities for serving on our various support teams such as the Prayer Team, the Events Planning Team and manning the Men's Ministry Table. Identify an area of service that motivates you and uses your gifts; from there just contact the Pointman listed on the Flagship Crew web site.
