Westside Community Center

Our vision for the Westside Community Center is to “Create a fun and welcoming gathering place where we will foster hope, serve with compassion and demonstrate God's love and grace."

Our next Volunteer Orientation is Tuesday, August 31st from 7:00pm–8:30pm at the Westside Community Center. We expect the Volunteer Orientation to fill up quickly, so please register in advance. To register, please CLICK HERE.

If you are unable to attend the next Volunteer Orientation, please CLICK HERE to fill out a short Volunteer Applicaton and let us know how you'd like to serve the Westside Community and its residents.

Our mission is to “Create Community one person at a time through integrated and synergistic programs designed to serve the needs of the Westside community in cooperation with our collaborative partners and an ongoing commitment to work with the Westside community to identify programs and services for our neighbors and families.”

Our WCC collaborative partners include:

  • Pikes Peak Community Action Agency
  • Peak Vista
  • Silver Key
  • Westside CARES
  • Greccio Housing

We recognize that there are several aspects of individuals’ personal lives that impact the quality of life for all of us and require coordinated community efforts to make positive change. Children are the future of every community, and families are the basic building blocks of society.  Healthy, successful children, strong families, and thriving older adults are fundamental in promoting social wellbeing in the Westside community. These are the outcomes the Westside Community Center and the collaboration partners are seeking through the relationships developed and the programs and services offered at the Westside Community Center.

The Westside Community Center is being operated by the Westside Community Center LLC which has been formed by the Center For Strategic Ministry. The Center for Strategic Ministry is a 501(c)(3) public tax-exempt supporting organization of Woodmen ValleyChapel.
