LEGACY, Woodmen Valley Chapel’s Ministry to the 50 plus community has a calendar filled with events and programs that you need to add to your schedule!
As LEGACY has taken on a new face with two different age groups that focus on different life needs, here’s a snapshot of how these ministries can serve you:
LEGACY BUILDERS was created primarily for the needs of the 50 to mid 60’s community. Practical planning and social events are being designed with working schedules and busy family commitments in mind. The following three areas will be given special attention: Life Planning Forum Events, Service Opportunities, and Social Community Building.
LEGACY ANCHORS was created primarily for those mid 60’s and beyond. Three distinct planning needs are addressed: Thirsty Thursdays Affirmation and Encouragement, Service Opportunities, and Social Community Building.
Please be aware that neither Builders nor Anchors is “age exclusive.” Involvement is self defined and not age directed - anyone is always welcome in the programs and events of either group. However, you will notice that Builder and Anchors programs are promoted separately.
