Sight and Sound Servant Guidelines

In order to achieve our vision, equip you with skills, provide you with opportunities, strengthen you spiritually, and fulfill your purpose and glorify God, we have established some guidelines that will make your ministry a place ...

  • To belong, serve and grow.
  • Where you are loved and honored just as you are.
  • Where your contribution is a blessing to everyone around you.

The guidelines we have established and the expectations that we have for you are summarized by: posture, attendance, and service.

Posture

  • Have a servant's heart.
  • Be committed to spiritual growth and a deepening relationship with God.
  • Pray for and support the entire team.
  • Regularly attend Woodmen Valley Chapel.
  • Grow with our changing ministry culture.
  • Attend team meetings and workshops.
  • Pursue excellence in skill.
  • Be at least 15 years old.

Attendance

  • Take the initiative to Check and Communicate scheduling conflicts.
  • Work with team leader to help find a replacement if you are unable to serve.
  • Allowed 3 no-shows. A "no-show" is considered a time that you have missed a scheduled service time without notifying us ahead of time. Of course we will exhibit grace in all circumstances, but require an intentional commitment.

Service

  • Arrive early and be ready to start at your scheduled call time.
  • Dress appropriately.
  • Smile, people are watching!
