Current Ministry Partner Needs

Ushers
Stationed inside auditoriums at both our campuses, ushers not only welcome those coming to services at Woodmen, but help latecomers find seats — no easy task in our packed services. During the services, ushers also collect the offering, and serve communion as needed. Ushers also assist parents of young children.

Greeters
Greeters provide a smile and a warm greeting to everyone entering our weekend services, including our first-time guests. Often, greeters answer questions newcomers might have, or connect them with a nearby campus guide. They also provide bulletins to the adults and special programs to children.

Guest Central Hosts
Many of our first-time guests will stop by Guest Central at some point on their first visit to Woodmen. As the one place where first-time visitors can find out more about everything going on at Woodmen, this can be a great place to help people make a connection point within our church, and help them take the “next steps” here at Woodmen.

Campus Guides
Often the first point of contact for our first-time visitors, campus guides are easily identifiable by their navy blue vests and outgoing personalities. They assist newcomers who are trying to find their way to classrooms, figure out where to drop off their kids, and generally find their way around our Rockrimmon campus.

Access Ministries, ”Special Needs”
Access seeks to offer opportunities to individuals and families dealing with special needs to come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to provide them with opportunities to rise to the potential for which God created them.

Children’s Ministry (KidsCove)
Our passion in children’s ministries is to provide an environment where children can Explore Gods’ Truth, Experience God’s Grace and Express God’s Love.

We are excited about the staff and team of ministry partners here at WVC who are committed to showing Jesus' love to our kids. In order for us to maintain a safe, fun, and caring environment, we need an adult in every classroom — and we invite the entire church to come serve with us to help make that happen.

Connections Café & Bookstore
Connections Bookstore's mission is to provide resources necessary for discovery, growth, and encouragement for and within the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. It is our intention to use fiscal stewardship through Biblical principles to be in a position to support and bless the ministries of Woodmen Valley Chapel. Your support is vital to that goal.&

Communion Prep Team
Communion servers and preparers serve an important role on Communion Sundays. Servers are responsible for serving Communion elements of bread, juice and holding the empty tray. Preparers collaborate in the set-up and clean-up of Communion for a given worship service in this important behind-the-scenes role.

Sports & Recreation
We believe that the care of God's people extends to serving their physical needs as well. We also believe that we can honor God though our bodies. No matter what your God-given abllities are, we invite you to join us in fun, fellowship and great competition.

Campus Safety and Medical Team
The Safety Team is the "eyes and ears" during service times, using two-way radios. They serve in the parking lot and inside the main buildings.

The Medical Team members are available to assist the congregation in the event that someone becomes ill during the service they are attending. They primarily serve in the Auditoriums when needed.

Women
Our hope is that women will grow toward a deeper amazement of God’s grace and compassionately serve Him together through the Women’s Ministries at Woodmen Valley Chapel. We have dynamic, in-depth Bible studies and relevant mentor and support groups for women at all stages of life.

Special Events
Assists our staff in setting up the venue for special assimilation events for newcomers, such as the Woodmen Welcome and Discovery class.

Administrative Support
Assists our staff by processing tear-offs from the weekend services, processing information for newcomers, helping reproduce course materials, assemble notebooks, prepare class materials and handouts, file information, etc., all as your schedule allows.

Pastoral Care
Our Pastoral Care Ministries seek to provide biblically centered counsel for life's challenges. This ministry includes premarital counseling, proactive seminars and workshops on life skills, benevolence and crisis instruction. The ministry also provides training for individuals who wish to work in crisis intervention, hospital, and nursing home ministry.

Students
The Student Ministries of WVC are committed to helping young people start living out the life of Christ here and now, everyday. The way we put it: tomorrow's generation becoming today's church.

Worship Arts
Looking for a place to plug in and use your technical or creative abilities here at Woodmen? The worship Arts ministry might be the perfect place for you. We’re looking for camera, lighting, audio and power point operators for weekend services. We also have room for vocalists, instrumentalists, visual artists and more.
