
DreamMakers: Ministry for Single Women

DreamMakers is a ministry for single women where we gather the fourth Tuesday night of the month (Sept. – May) for a night of encouragement and inspiration. Each month guest speakers will share their inspiring journeys with us and we’ll have time to connect over dessert and coffee.

Sept. 22: Leslie Koepke, “Here I Go Again” Rm. 117/118 CC - Formerly a writer & dynamic speaker for Focus on the Family, Leslie will share her testimony, what this season of her life means and some practical tips for single women of God.
Oct. 27: Mariana Silva, “Leaving and Cleaving” Rm. 107 WC - Mariana began DreamMakers out of her desire to unite single women in the community and encourage their faith walk. Mariana will be speaking about leaving behind the old nature and moving forward to HIS newness for our lives.
Nov. 24: Carole Newhouse, “Can this Christmas Carole Find Balance & Consistency in Trying Times?” Rm. 107 WC - Born in December, award-winning speaker Carole Newhouse talks about her journey in life. It's not how we fall, but how we get up!
Jan. 26: Erin Slusher, “On My Knees: The Power of Prayer” Rm. 107 WC- Retreat Leader & published author of “Prayer: The Gate” 7 steps to a better prayer life,
Feb. 23: Roxanne Lingle, “Lord Can You Use Me?” - Rm. 107 WC "Lord Can You Use Me? Am I too young, too old, too round, too thin…and, oh yah what about my double chin?” Roxanne takes a look at the kind of woman God uses. Not your typical Proverbs 31 message!
Mar. 23: Scoti Domeij, “Living Single in a World of Drive-Through-Sex” Rm. 107 WC - When spiritual beliefs and sexual tension collide, how do you deal with two highly combustible forces—loneliness and the desire for physical intimacy? Professional writer, Scoti brings a sensitive topic to the forefront for frank, open discussion.
April 27: Michael Phipps, “Beavers, Otters and Bears, Oh MY!”-Rm. 107 WC - Men and women have very different styles and personalities. With delightful humor and Biblical insights, winner of Toastmasters International humorous speech contest, Michael will share how our differences impact everyday relationships and how to have healthy male-female friendships that honor God.
May 25: DiAnna Steele, “Invisible but Not Imaginary”-Rm. 107 WC - Is God more than an imaginary friend? DiAnna teaches on how to KNOW that God is REAL. She’ll also discuss the implications of being a single woman serving a very real God.
