Military commanders use specially minted coins to improve morale, foster unit esprit, and honor service members for their hard work. Usually presented by high-ranking officers, it's considered to be a great honor to receive a coin. Coins prove membership in a unit or career field because they are illustrations of what the group members have in common.
Men, we all have the same Commander-in-Chief, Jesus, and a common enemy, Satan. Preparation for your unit's mission is for each of you to put on the full Armor of God and pray. Our Men's Ministries have provided a coin to identify you with our unit and our mission. Carry it on you at all times as evidence of your commitment to our Commander-in-Chief and as your reminder to put on every piece of the full Armor of God and pray.
Coins enhance morale and mission readiness. Challenge your fellow warriors by producing your coin or repeatedly tap it on the table. They meet the challenge by producing their coin. But above all, remember that God commands us to wear His armor and pray AS A UNIT! You cannot serve as a warrior in isolation; we must unify with the overarching mission of our Men's Ministries, as well as serving in specifically-tasked and specialized smaller units within the Men's Ministries.
