Our Women's Bible Studies at WVC are called The Pursuit because we are passionate about pursuing a more intimate relationship with God through studying His Word together. We hope you can join us for one of our Women’s Bible Studies beginning in January 2009.

Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman - Beth Moore's Newest!
Esther may have been a queen, but her life was no fairy tale. An outsider, a foreigner, and an orphan, she found herself facing an evil plan to destroy her people. Through Beth Moore’s video teaching, we will have an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. She peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today. This portion of God's Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.

This 10-week study will guide women through daily homework and weekly video teaching by Beth Moore focusing on the life of Esther. This study also includes small group discussion time and is offered several times throughout the week and at both campuses.

Springs’ WOW
Join us for an intergenerational, city-wide women's Bible study. For our winter/spring semester we will be studying Kirkie Morrissey's study, Fix Your Eyes on Jesus - Running the Race Marked Out for You! In this study, God's purposes for each of us today will be explored in depth. Whatever season of life we are in, God has meaning and purpose for our days! With practical insights on discerning HIs purposes, this study explores what we are to be as well as what we are to do. All are welcome.

Discerning the Voice of God Due to room capacity - we have closed this class but we are starting a waiting list. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list, please click below.

Having a hard time knowing what God is saying versus what others are saying? This Bible study from author and speaker Priscilla Shirer is designed to help participants know the voice of God: His language, character, and tone of voice. By growing closer to God through His Word, participants will be able to discern God's voice from the voice of strangers. This seven-week study includes video teaching by Priscilla Shirer and small group discussion time each week. The Member Book contains about 30 minutes of personal study time, five days a week.

This study has been meeting for several months. They will be completing Beth Moore's Believing God study through January and February.
