2008 Woodmen Valley Chapel Soccer Camp

The second annual WVC Soccer Camp started off hot and did not let up. The week was a very special one as we challenged and built up the campers' soccer skills and awareness, character, and knowledge of God.
The campers were split up into three age groups with specifically tailored drills for each group. Midway through each day devotionals transferred the disciplines of soccer over into character and faith. The campers energy and enthusiasm never depleted and was even contagious for the coaches.
The coaching staff was compiled of gentle yet challenging men and women who deeply cared for the campers. Also, their knowledge of the game definitely benefited the kids. It was apparent that the campers were having fun, but the coaches had just as much fun.
All in all, the camp was a success and we eagerly look forward to future soccer events like this one.
