If you like to play volleyball and have fun while meeting new people, join us for our recreational level volleyball open gym. This open gym is designed for people who want to play volleyball in a fun, non-competitive setting.

The Sports and Recreation Ministry is proud to join with the MOSAIC (single adult) Ministry to offer this fitness opportunity. If you are new to Woodmen, this is a great chance to meet new people. If you are looking to improve your skills this is a great way to play on a fun and exciting level.

Are you looking for a competitive volleyball league to play in? Are you tired of the same old leagues that just take your entry fee and don't you much play in return? Are you looking for a league that offers more then just getting together and playing?

At Woodmen Valley Chapel we offer more then “just another league." We stress great competitive play in a friendly, safe environment that encourages you to take teamwork with you as you leave the court and into your daily walk. You will get to meet new people from across the city while forming friendships, which can last a lifetime. You get 10 weeks of volleyball, with a guaranteed three games per match, playoffs and a championship match. We also offer something no one other league does -- we host a mid-season tournament dinner for you and your family or guests. We provide the food, entertainment and free sports massages. All you have to do is show up because it’s already factored into your game schedules. This dinner allows you to meet other players, their friends and families and share some laughs in a casual fun environment.

This co-ed league is open to Advanced and “A” players. If you played in high school, college or at a club level, this league is for you. The action is fast and hard and not for the faint of heart! We play 5 vs. 5. We invite all who wish to play. If you want to invite someone who attends another church, feel free to do so. If you feel led to invite someone who doesn’t go to a church, please reach out and invite them. We offer a safe, non-threatening place for people to explore what Christ has in store for them.

If you don’t have a team, no problem! We take free agents and assign them to a team.

Cost: $200 per team. $35 per Free Agent

All games are played on Friday evenings at the Rockrimmon gymnasium. Games can be scheduled starting at 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm, 9 pm and sometimes 10 pm. Due to the size of this league we cannot guarantee specific start times to specific teams.
