Community Partners
WVC Small Groups are adopting community agencies and helping meet their needs for one year. One member of our church body found several others who shared her passion for abused women and they formed a new Small Group to adopt an agency.
This is a great opportunity to build some meaningful, long-term relationships with needy folks in our community.
You can help celebrate birthdays and holidays and share God's love with people who are being cared for and developed by these community agencies.
There are currently seven focus areas that Small Groups are encouraged to adopt:
- Homeless and financially needy
- Youth and families
- Emotionally and physically challenged
- AIDS victims the their families
- Support for medical services for the needy
- Military families
- Women
- Seniors
