Get Connected at Woodmen Valley!

A church this size can feel overwhelming unless you're connected to a smaller group of people who know your heart and are walking alongside you.

Connecting at Woodmen Valley Chapel

Step 1:  Woodmen Welcome
Step 2:  Discovery Class (prerequisite for membership)
Step 3:  Join a Small Group
Step 4:  Become involved in a ministry

Use the series of links below to find a way to get connected so that you can experience the beauty of a "small church" support system inside of a "large church" environment. This is what community is all about!

Discover Woodmen Valley

Discover through the following classes ways in which you are able to get connected at Woodmen Valley Chapel.

  • Woodmen Welcome: The Woodmen Welcome is your chance to learn more about Woodmen Valley Chapel while connecting with our pastors and staff.
  • Discovery Class: Discovery will help you "discover" the vision of our church, our beliefs and leadership structure, how you can participate in true community, and what it means to become an active member.
  • Starting Point Groups: This study is designed to create a safe environment in which to ask tough questions and to move forward in your spiritual journey.
  • Small Groups: Small groups at Woodmen Valley Chapel are an intimate, versatile environment for spiritual growth and encouragement. Small groups are the primary means of developing deep connections with others on the same journey. Simply put, small groups are about doing life together. We need each other!

Starting Point Orientations

Starting Point is a 10-week small group study for those seeking or starting a relationship with God. This study is designed to create a safe environment in which to ask tough questions and to move forward in your spiritual journey. A small group setting designed for:

Seekers: those who don't know Christ, but are interested in checking out Christianity and the Bible for the first time.

Starters: new believers who want to deepen their understanding of God and His Word.

Returners: those with some church background, but who have been away for awhile and want to extend their understanding of God, His Word and its importance for the Christian life.

For more information, email us at startingpoint@woodmenvalley.org

The single greatest way we can establish community here at Woodmen is through participation in Small Groups. Our goal? That 100% (you read that right!) of our congregation would be involved in a small, community-building group ... a group of people who know you, understand your life circumstances, pray for your challenges, and encourage your growth with Jesus Christ. For more information, click here.

WVC's Legacy Ministry is open to all adults over the age of 50. Join us for lots of fun as we fellowship, encourage spiritual growth, sponsor educational forums, travel near and far with congenial companions and serve within the congregation.

The Men's Ministries of Woodmen Valley exists to lead men into authentic, Christ-centered relationships with life-giving significance for today and a lasting legacy for tomorrow.

Women’s Ministries at Woodmen Valley Chapel is designed to equip women to passionately pursue their relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to come alongside women through Bible studies, prayer, worship and special events. For more information, contact Pam Lewis at 719.388.4985.

MOSAIC–or Ministry Of Single Adults In Community–is WVC's ministry to single adults age 28 and older. Click the header above for info on the MOSAIC Sunday service, 1st Thursdays, upcoming events and ways you can get involved.
