What is the Center for Strategic Ministry?
The Center for Strategic Ministry (CSM) is a diversified family of CSM-supported and subordinate Evangelical Christian ministries sharing the common vision of “Unleashing Hope and the Gospel in a turbulent culture.” The vision driving every aspect of the CSM is to further the Great Commission Mandate to make disciples throughout the nations through strategic, tactical, and other ministry partnerships working through the local church. Finally, the CSM also implements the Global Impact focus of the missions program at Woodmen Valley Chapel.
The purpose for the CSM flows out of:
o A high view of God and a zeal for His Glory
o A servant spirit and heart of compassion
o A love for the lost
o A passion for worldwide evangelism and worship of God
The primary goal of the CSM is to create synergies through partnerships which allow all ministries to accomplish more Kingdom impact than any one ministry could accomplish without partnering together. Synergies are created in three distinct areas:
o Ministry synergies through partnership in programs
o Intellectual synergies through creative thinking and shared information
o Resource synergies through use of shared facilities and resources
