What does home schooling look like in 2008-09? Single moms and those married with children. All kinds of children: birth children, adoptive children, learning challenged, gifted children.

Home Educators, no matter our background or diversity, have one thing in common: the desire to see their families grow and thrive spiritually, emotionally, physically, and academically.

At WVC, we invite you to join in the journey! Once a month at Woodmen Heights and Rockrimmon, Woodmen Valley Chapel HomeSchool Connections meet to encourage each other and provide an enriching environment for our children.

From Sept – Apr at the Connection Meeting, your children enjoy a PE and Art time, while we meet for refreshments and chocolates! You’ll have time to relax and connect with other moms. Moms’ night in November will be an evening opportunity to be encouraged with a special guest speaker. A Christmas Party in December is for all to enjoy!

To register for a HomeSchool Connections meeting, email Holly Parker at holly13060@gmail.com. Please include your name, names and ages of children, date and location you wish to attend.

Out of courtesy to our Art and PE teachers and their helpers, we ask that you register by the 1^st of the month you plan to attend. For example, if you want to come to Rockrimmon in September, register by September 1^st. There is a $5 per child fee for PE and a cap of $10 per family. If you are able, you can contribute to a monthly offering we have for our Art teacher.
