AWANA at WVC
What? AWANA is the Bible program for Kidz at Woodmen Valley Chapel. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from II Timothy 2:15. "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." KJV
Why? AWANA is an international outreach program of Woodmen Valley Chapel where Kidz are encouraged to bring their friends each week. It includes games, story time and Bible memorization.
Who? It is for children 3 years old (by September 1st and potty-trained) through 18 years old.
Where? TWO LOCATIONS! Rockrimmon and Woodmen Heights Campuses
When? The program runs during the school year. September 5th -May.
Wednesdays 6:15-8pm Preschoolers-6th grades meet on both campuses. (TREK available at Woodmen Heights)
Sundays 4:30-6:30pm TREK (middle-school) and Journey 24/7(high-school) will meet at the Rockrimmon Campus ONLY!
Clubber registration is required with applicable registration fees. *Register in person at Club*
Who Else? In order for this program (of over 500 clubbers) to function productively--WE NEED YOU! If you have served in the past, we would love to have you back! Or if you have never served, hopefully this is the year that we can add you to the team! Please complete the Leader registration form to serve during the 2007--2008 club year.
