Journey (High School, 9th–12th grade)

High Schoolers step into Journey 24/7 to experience relevant content and scripture memorization. In addition to their study materials, our students have the opportunity to serve with a T&T group as Leaders-In-Training (LITs) for part of the night. Club meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 8:15.

Special Events: Journey clubbers are encouraged to build a car for the AWANA Grand Prix, invite their friends to Skate Night, and join in monthly dinner fellowship nights. Each semester culminates with an auction at which students may spend the points they have earned.

Journey clubbers continue to progress toward the AWANA Citation Award by completing books from the Journey, Trek, and T&T series. At the end-of-year ceremony, clubbers may receive:

  • Alpha Award (completed one book and at least third grade)
  • Excellence Award (completed two books and at least fourth grade)
  • Challenge Award (completed three books and at least fifth grade)
  • Timothy Award (completed four books and at least sixth grade)
  • Meritorious Award (completed six books and at least eighth grade)
  • Citation Award (completed ten books and at least twelfth grade)
  • Main Study pins
  • LIT and Leader service pins
