MOPS - 2011-2012

MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers
The purpose of MOPS is to encourage and equip mothers of preschoolers to realize their potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. We have guest speakers, discussion groups, crafts and great food. MOPS is offered from September through May with childcare (newborn - kindergarten) by registration only.

Our theme for 2011-2012 is:

Momsense: Bold • Loving • Sensible – equipping moms to embrace being a mom and develop their own parenting style while navigating through the myriad of daily mom decisions.

II Tim. 1:7 - "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline."

Childcare available: New this year, you may register for childcare (Birth-K) at the same time you register for your study. Childcare must be reserved through online registration or by calling 48 hours in advance at 719.388.5002.

What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom: urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms ... moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.

The purpose of MOPS is to encourage, equip, and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
